The 2005 competition will showcase four different missions each with its own playing field. Each mission makes emphasis on a set of tasks. All playing fields are 8'X8' in area: teams score points when their robots complete a prescribed set of tasks for each mission under specific time constraints.

The missions are:

• Dance the Macarena.
• Follow the Tree of Life.
• Find and recover the supplies dropped by the mother ship.
• Find the center of the crop circle.
