The University of Tulsa is proud to be a sponsor for the FIRST Robotics teams at Booker T. Washington (BTW) and Jenks High Schools.

Each team will help design, build, and test a TU designed robot capable of competing in a nationwide competition. This year's goal involves participating in a Rack N' Roll game where the robot places innertubes onto an octagon-shaped structure 3 levels high.

TU's Involvement with FIRST

FIRST was started in 1989 by inventor Dean Kamen to inspire and teach young people life lessons in science, technology, engineering, and math. The University of Tulsa is proud to sponsor FIRST teams and hopes to continue educating local high school students in the future. More information about FIRST can be found by visiting the FIRST website.
